Dr. Pope is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon with a particular interest in total joint replacements, sports injuries, fracture care, and traumatic and arthritic conditions. Dr. Pope has published numerous orthopedic articles and book chapters and has presented on a local and national level.
Dr. Pope grew up in Macon and enjoys working with our youth covering sporting events and providing athletic screenings for high school and college athletes. He is a team physician for Mercer University and Stratford Academy high school athletic programs.
