Dr. Ludwig is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at ASMI under the direction of Dr. James Andrews. His special interests are athletic injuries, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee, fracture care, and total joint reconstruction (knee and shoulder). He is certified for MAKO (Stryker) and ROSA (Zimmer) robotic assisted joint replacement.
Dr. Ludwig covers sporting events and provides athletic screenings for high school and college athletes. He is the head team physician for Mercer University, Middle Georgia State University, and Fort Valley State University. Dr. Ludwig also provides care for Workers’ Compensation injuries and performs independent medical examinations for these patients.
Dr. Ludwig has authored multiple orthopaedic book chapters, medical journal articles and enjoys presenting at medical conferences.
