Director of DME services
Daniel has been a Certified Orthopaedic Technologist (OTC) for 25 years. He began his career at the Medical Center of Central Georgia (MCCG) where he stayed before joining OrthoGeorgia in 2007. Daniel serves as a Clinical Instructor for Beiersdorf Smith Nephew Medical and travels the southeast providing instruction in the development and use of casting and splinting.
He is currently the Vice President of the Georgia Association of Orthopaedic Technologist (GAOT) and sits on their membership committee. Daniel enjoys the educational aspect of his profession and is a clinical instructor and an active advisory board member for the accredited OTC program at Central Georgia Technical College. He also currently serves as Secretary on the MCCG orthopaedic department committee.
Daniel’s professional affiliations include the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologist and the Georgia Association of Orthopaedic Technologist. He is a member of Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church where he serves as an Adult Acolyte.
Daniel is married with has two children and enjoys time with his family, gardening, fishing, and promoting the sports medicine program through outreach efforts for OrthoGeorgia.
