William W. Brooks, M.D. earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, graduating Magnum Cum Laude. He received a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia and completed an orthopaedic residency at the Atlanta Medical Center where he was recognized by the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma as “Teaching Resident of the Year”.
Dr. Brooks accepted a fellowship appointment for spine from the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Brooks is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Medical Association of Georgia, National Association of Spine Surgeons, Georgia Orthopaedic Society, and the Bibb County Medical Society.
Dr. Brooks has authored numerous national medical journal articles, medical text book chapters, and has presented on a national level.
Dr. Brooks enjoys spending time with family, hunting, music, fishing, snow skiing, and team sports.
