Gary L. Hattaway, M.D. has practiced in Macon since 1985 and is currently an office-based Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of all orthopaedic problems. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Hattaway is an active member of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The Georgia Orthopaedic Society, The Bibb County Medical Society, The Medical Association of Georgia, The American Medical Association, The American Orthopaedic Association Honor Medical Society, and The Michael Hoke Society.
Dr. Hattaway earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at Emory University in Atlanta and his Medical Degree with Honors from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed his Internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas and a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.
Dr. Hattaway is married with three children, one grandchild and enjoys going to the movies, fishing, hunting, and golf.
