Physician Assistant for Dennis K. Jorgensen, MD
David Bruce received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training from Valdosta State University and a Master’s degree in Physical Education from the University of Central Florida. He continued on to complete a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Emory University and served as class representative for Emory’s South Georgia Farm worker Health Project. Mr. Bruce continues to serve with the Farm worker project and was elected to Emory PA program scholarship committee.
Mr. Bruce served as a summer athletic training intern for Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2005
Head Athletic Trainer at Shorter University in Rome, Georgia prior to returning to PA school.
Mr. Bruce is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (PA-C), National Athletic Trainers Association (ATC), and is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Physician Assistant and Athletic Trainer.
Mr. Bruce is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, and the National Athletic Trainers Association.
Mr. Bruce is married and enjoys spending time with family, participating in medical missions at home and abroad, golf, photography, cooking, and college athletics.
