Hand & Upper Extremity
The Hand and Upper Extremity department comprises Occupational and/or Certified Hand Therapists who have acquired special knowledge and understanding of problems affecting the hand, wrist, elbow or shoulder. Through close collaboration with a physician, patient, and family, the therapist develops an individualized treatment program to restore physical components such as range of motion, strength, sensation, coordination, and function in daily tasks.
